What is this goofy, fugly purple mess of a skin?!

we wait over two years for this goofy event skin, is this a joke?

Instead of making a more spooky/horror skin like something skeleton or reaper themed we get some purple child version of a bat with this guy

Hell if they would make Skaarl actually look like a bat and Kled like an undead rider or something it would be great (or just steal some ideas).

what do they think when they make such a skin for a champ that has a small, passionate group of players who like to play Kled because he is a badass champ that is all about going in while screaming some insults? Do we look like some kids that enjoy some funny colored Halloween skin?

Of course, this skin won't sell, there are not many Kled players to start with and now with such a silly skin it won't sell, people don't like it.

But you know, now Riot won't release another Kled skin for 3 years.

I really don't know how you look at Kled and take that as a serious character. His enemy list is the entire champion roster, including himself

Riot makes fun goofy event skins "Wtf Riot? Why cant we have spooky scary skeletons?"

The skin looks good, it's fun(ny) and fits kled's bat(heh) shit crazy personallity way more than making him this edgy reaper skeleton guy.

Just imagine spawning on this super realistic bat creature with an undead rider giving super serious vibes - then kled says: "HOLY SHIT WHERE ARE WE?"

Its an interesting design, I like it.

Just another "o my champ who hasn't gotten a skin didn't get a deserved legendary" thread really. Every champ main does this.

They would never do a skeleton themed champ or skin due to chinese servers censorship, see karthus who used to be that. The Jurassic ones I guess are exceptions due to them being less humanoid. Honestly they probably forced this design just to make a kled skin because there's not a lot they can do besides super galaxy (skin line wasn't that long ago, too soon for another) and likely future events they have planned kled wouldn't fit in.

As a Camille main who hates the release skin, I can understand your pain of the skin not being up to par. However, I know that I would be desperate to get a different skin after this long, so I would buy it even if it were like that. In other words, I'm pretty sure the skin will sell.

I'll be waiting till the next patch (8.21) when we see them hit the PBE and that's when better judgement can be made. We've seen one still image, that is, yes pretty bad, but still can't really tell a lot from this. We don't get to see the full view of how it appears at a proper angle in game or what the effects look like yet.

I think it needs some color work and it could be decent still abit dissapointing though. But some color work is necessary the color scheme is too monochromatic

Kled is SUPPOSED to be a comedy character.. he's a backwoods country redneck, who's fearless to a fault, that rides an immortal, indestructible dinosaur, that's a coward.. the comedy is, Kled is a small fragile Yordle, who should be scared of everything, but is fearless. Skaarl is a dinosaur that can't be killed, therefore shouldn't be scared of anything, but is a coward. the contrast is the comedy. on top of that, he's clearly mentally unstable, usually doesn't know where he is half the time, is probably drunk throughout the entire match, and is just a funny character to have around..

he doesn't need edgy, LOTR inspired, death eater skins to be a good sell. that being said, i personally think, from the screenshot shown, that the skin isn't up to par. and that they missed the chance to have a headless horseman skin. they could have made it cartoonish.. but whatever. i don't understand the theme here.. a vampire riding a bat? and they're purple for some reason? when neither vampires nor bat are purple..
