I thought Nagakabouros was a Serpent, not a Kraken?

A bit confused about Ilaoi's title here, during the Bilgewater I saw a picture of the Bearded Lady. It showed a giant serpent with tentacles around the mouth (thus "bearded") rather than an actual Kraken.

So, shouldn't it be Serpent Priestess?

"Kraken" is a bit of a catch-all term that just means "big damn sea monster."The term was originally intended for just tentacley guys like the Kraken from the Pirate of the Caribbean movie, but it applies to a lot of different sea life nowadays. Since Illaoi is a "Kraken Priestess", it's clear that Bilgewater uses a similar definition.

One of Illaoi's voice clips has her saying something about "hydras, serpents, krakens" and how those are just parts of Nagakabouros and those labels come to be because of someone else's relative view of the creature rather than knowing what the entire thing looks like.

We're never really told who/what Nagakabouros looks like. Honestly, I really like the tentacle mechanics.

Its like the bearded lady has a kraken stuck to her face, the kraken is probably more like an aspect of nagakaboru(hope i wrote that right)

Kraken is the word used to describe creatures of serpentine, so an Octopus would be a Kracken
