About that Ultimate skin...

We know the next ultimate skin needs to be for a top-laner. But at the moment, we also need to look at the most picked vs. most popular.

Darius, Teemo and Riven would be three of the most popular. Mordekaiser, Fiora and Kench are most picked.

Now for deduction. Teemo, Riven, and Darius have legendarys. Darius has 2 so he's completely out of the question. So this leaves Teemo and Riven at least possible.

Mordekaiser, Fiora and Kench. Kench and Mordekaiser are lacking skins extremely. Mordekaiser recently got his rework, future-proofing him. Fiora hasn't aged badly, meaning no rework anywhere to be seen. Kench is still getting rapidly nerfed to oblivion to this moment, so making an ultimate skin for abilites which will be heavily altered would almost downgrade it to a legendary skin.

So the top-laner who gains an ultimate skin will be: 50% chance for Mordekaiser. 30% chance for Fiora. 10% chance for both Teemo and Riven if Riot really wants to please THOSE players.

And a 0.001% Poppy gets a legendary skin, because she's one of the oldest yordles without a legendary skin yet.

GP, or Aatrox tbh. Popular in Pro Play, some consider them the best Toplaners in Competetive and they are quite popular and successfull in very high Elo.

But in the End Irelia will get it, lol.

. Darius has 2 so he's completely out of the question.

That no longer matters, Ezreal has a Legendary along with an Ultimate. If they find something they like, they will make it regardless of what a champion already has.

The problem with Ultimate skins is that the idea has to be so insanely cool and "advanced" that they can't really plan what Champ it will suit in advance. I'm not sure how it came about, but if the DJ concept came first, Sona was an obvious fit for that. Lux is a good fit for a wide variety of elemental themes because she is a mage with lots of particles (pretty much only mages could have fit that theme). Spirit Guard Udyr is an Udyr only theme, it literally only works with Udyr. You get the idea: Ultimate skins are concept-focused. I think its better to not limit the Ultimate skin selection based on position, but rather based on who works with a concept.

I saw someone suggest a skin based that changes based on how you play, whether you help your allies or attack your enemies, and has a few forms each in the "good" and "evil" direction. They suggested Lulu, not because they wanted Lulu to get the skin, but they thought her kit fit the idea: she has abilities that help and hinder. The skin would change to reflect your playstyle, which I think is a pretty cool idea (although I am a little bit biased, Lulu is one of my favorites, I still think the concept would be neat on any Champion it suits).

I've always loved and wanted a ultimate skin for Pantheon where he becomes every host he ever possessed. Each host would be a different voice actor and have a certain appearance to make them distinct, possibly a different look for each region? You could have a number of different ones and you could even have a female one (based off Aurelion Sol's lore where Pantheon had a female host) and so on. It fits Pantheon due to it being his lore and it can't really be done with any other champ except maybe other Aspects.

Who's picked and who's played has nothing to do with who gets the ultimate skin. I present to you, Spirit Guard Udyr.
