Chem-Tech...What is it?
Currently we have very little information on what Chem-Tech actually is.
We have a few examples with Warwick and how he uses it through his Lore and Gameplay, Zac, and Urgot with how he uses it in game. But its interesting because both champions use it in completely different ways. Warwick uses it completely as a biochemical enhancement to grant him increased speed, healing and strength. Urgot uses it as an incendiary weapon and to "breathe." And Zac just IS Chemtech. So its hard to get a feel for what it really is since its uses are so diverse. Its mentioned separately from these three champions a few time but without much detail.
On the other hand Chem-Tech's counter part Hextech has gotten MUCH development and is displayed in many champions and lore accompanying champions and on its own. Hextech is very fleshed out whereas Chem-Tech isn't.
Gathering what we know about Chem-Tech it can be surmised that;
-Its development originated in Zaun as opposed to Hextech originating in Piltover, and it is mostly used in Zaun. -Chemtech was originally used in tools and the chemicals it used were mainly used as fuel. -The chemicals used in Chemtech are mined (maybe also by Chemtech tools), and chemtech is also used in explosives for mining -later on it was used in weapons -such as chemical gases, explosives, guns, ammunition, incendiary fluids -finally the last stage of its development would have been biochemical alterations, such as biological enhancements, and catalysts for biological changes
The main theme behind Chemtech "is more visceral, more gritty. It does the job, and it does it fast and effectively, form means nothing. Dull metal mostly defines chemtech, that and the exposed chemicals and flames that attune each one," (RespiteOfSilence)
The main materials that make up Chemtech are brass, glass, iron, plastic, and chemicals. The main components that make up Chemtech systems are reservoirs/chamber, tubing, pumps, orifices, syringes, and nozzles. Thus the symbol language for chem tech is made up mostly of circles/cylinders, rectangles, and triangles.
But compared to hextech this isn't enough. What is chem tech
