You should post the english lyrics so people who don't speak Japanese can follow along with the lyrical flow of the music.
I dunno, to me, the Japanese version sounds too much like a very stereotypical anime intro song.
As in, I could go on kissanime.com and click the "Give me a random anime" button (does this exist?) and this song probably will be featured.
The English one is set apart in its tonal qualities and almost story-telling melody.
EDIT: Before anybody thinks I'm saying having it resemble classic anime is a bad thing, that's not at all the case. If anything, that's a praise that Riot has the means to entertain an audience by appealing to another culture. I'm pleased there are two versions at all and not just one dubbed in another language.
I prefer the English one honestly. Music fits better with the actual video.

Disagree, English version sounds unique, where as the Japanese one (even though appropriate language for the theme in question) falls flat in the uniqueness of the music part.
One thing I dislike are language borrowings. I don't like them in my own language, I don't like them in English and I don't like them in Japanese.
I'm just that kind of a purist.
There is no word for that one new term in a different language? Fine.
For example that one time in 20th century, they(my country) tried to localize the French word "cravate"(necktie) and it ended up being "decorative male overhang", which basically sounds like a sophisticated term for a penis. For obvious reasons it didn't stick.
But when somebody ends up replacing every other word and it isn't even pronounced correctly... That isn't acceptable.
A shame, because the Japanese version could sound better otherwise.
