Thoughts on Icathia, Kumungu Jungles and Glade as Factions and Future factions

So, knowing that we only see the 1/6 part of runeterra as of today, it means that there are possible new factions in the future. Not only that but Runetera is big a hell, even bigger than earth if you ask me because we only see 1/6 part of it and in that 1 there are currently 3 continents that resides there. Not only that, but there are also other realms like the spirit realm, void and the real targon which is not part of runetera's physical form.

As my thread name says, I just talk about these 3 factions first which 2 of them currently resides in the southern continent/Shuriman continent while the other one might be in the spirit realm/ a diff realm.

Icathia - it can stand on its own as a faction because it has its own stuff even though it has a great relation to the void and there are no more champs that resides there because its now ruins. BUT! I think in the future, possible factions without champs/ just a affiliated ones are possible because Runeterra is a growing and has a realistic/lively approach world. It doesn't need to be faction where a champ should reside all the time in order for it to be a faction. Not only that, but Ryze, Jax and Zilean's faction should be icathia as well because they're heavily influenced there. Or maybe, just make them just like tham kench, he's factionless because he always travel to here and there but he has a great influence in Bildgewater so he is affiliated there. Not only that, but if you ask me about the void as a faction, I can think of it as the real void itself or the world inside of those rifts.

Kumungu Jungles (Which is one of the factions that I love and won't stop to spam riot until they make it as a faction) - is going to be renamed or be a part of a much larger jungle says one rioter. (Eg. kumungu:Unnamed jungle;Immortal Bastion:Noxus) So I think this faction would be nice retcon. Specially that I don't like the new Zyra lore ( A Poison Ivy Troupe ). Plus, I want to see new race or champs there. Maybe new vastayan people, nidalee's origin,etc. I also wish teemo will migrate here.

Lastly, as for the glade, I think it will be 50/50 because I remember in Reav3's interview in beyond the rift, they plan Zoe as a character from where Lulu which is the glade until they scrap it because they seems similar and move zoe into targon. So there is a chance for the glade to return. Maybe this is where law of physics doesn't apply. it's purely magic like a dark fairytale realm (Alice in Wonderland type of setting). It is diff from ionia's magic too. Veigar can also reside here with lulu though.

Honorable Mentions:

Bandle City - I got a theory, what if it is a kind of city that resides in the physical world as an act of camouflage to the yordles. The bandle city itself is a portal that you can enter into the bandle realm/spirit realm. No one knows the physical location of it in the physical world because the city is like a teleporting city that change its location. But when someone saws the city, they could just see yordles as humans because of their magical charms. This city has guards like tristana to protect the city from intruders that can go into the spirit world.

  • Elf Factions
  • Angel Faction
  • Vampire %%%% Factions
  • Dark Elves faction
  • Modern World Faction
  • Other Vastayan Tribes

EDIT: I want to add races like 4 arms/ 6 arms humanoid races alien looking races Outworld race like mileena and shaokan from mortal kombat

I wouldn't mind seeing more Icathia, Kumungu, or the Glade.

Orc/Ogre/Goblin/Gremlin Tribes

Trolls and Yordles mostly cover this.

Elf Factions / Dark Elves faction

Possibly, either as Glade-dwellers or spirits.

Angel Faction

The celestials of Targon are most likely this.

Vampire %%%% Factions

Unnecessary. We have Vlad and Elise.

Modern World Faction

Either Targon or Piltover. Maybe the Void? It has modern sci-fi elements and is described as a bioweapon, after all.

Other Vastayan Tribes

We'll get them eventually.

Icathia Well the only real champs from Icathia are Jax and Zilean and at least Jax could simply be counted as a void champ(just like Kassadin and the other void corrupted),so I don't really think that is needed.

Kumungu I'm actually pretty sure that Rengars tribe lives here(there is not necessarily just a desert on that continent,but also a jungle),which would make sense since Nidalee is likely a Kiilash-human-hybrid(as her animal form is a type of cat). I'd also like to see a jungle faction based on aztec/mayan culture,which could either be from kumungu or part of the buhru islands.

Glade and Bandle City Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if these 2 would be closely connected eventually.I mean the Yordles are pretty much played up to be some kind of fae-beings,but they also can't retcon actual faes due to Pixs existence(and the fairy in Annies video). So it wouldn't surprise me if the glade and bandle city get directly connected(there has to be a reason why the yordles are building such a military force if they live so isolated from others).

As for your ideas for new factions:

  • Orc/Ogre/Goblin/Gremlin Tribes: I feel like the Trolls pretty much fill that role already
  • ** Elf Factions:** This could work as a part of the fae realm or a forest faction(in general a nature oriented forest faction is kinda missing)
  • Angel Faction: Sadly I believe that Kayle and Morgana are gonna be retconned into ascended(maybe Morgana into a darkin),so while I would have loved to see an angel faction I really doubt that we'll get it
  • Vampire %%%% Factions: Don't feel like we need that with already 2 vampire like champs in Noxus(elise and Vlad) and the fact that an undead faction already exists
  • Dark Elves faction: I honestly don't feel like this would really add that much to the game,in general I feel like just being home to another race isn't enough to make a faction feel unique.
  • Modern World Faction: I think this might clash a bit too much with the rest of the game,Piltover and Zaun are pushing it already sometimes.
  • Other Vastayan Tribes: Overall I actually hope that Xayahs&Rakans rebellion will eventually lead to the creation of a vastaya country.

Some of my own ideas for new factions(aside from the stuff I mentioned already above): -A mage focused faction full of scholars and wizards

-An arabic faction,I mean sure Shurima has some shades of this,but its mostly based on egypt.

-In general we could also need a faction with dark skinned people(though the faction would also need something else to make it stand out).

Do we have, a faction of warlords? Noxus and demacia do not count, they have dictators. Shurima doesn’t ether.

I would like a subterranean civilisation, people who entirely live under the earth in the dark. The only thing that is remotely close to this right now is Zaun with its mines, but that's not quite what I imagine.

Imagine a big city in a cave, illuminated by glowing crystals or even stuff like mushrooms. Utilising big insects as livestock. Fairly magical, but with some technology maybe as well.
