LRP: The Legendary Once Guardians (Part 1)
While the bite of the cold chilled away at the inhabitants, the frost created beauty wherever one was to look. There were the snowflakes that fell so unevenly, which made them so beautiful or the crystalline stalactites that seemed to drip off the ends of branches. Throughout this treacherous, yet amazing landscape lay a group of creatures, each seeming to be made of ice, which shined as if it were a diamond. “We must see where this opening leads. As this potential threat cannot be evaded, we must seek out what it is now, before it can become a problem, as is our duty to protect the Freljord,” one of the crystalline figures announced as the light shown through its body. “While it is our duty to protect this land, caution must be taken. This is unlike anything even our kind has ever seen, and if anything were to happen to us, this land could fall to darkness,“ a concerned figure announced. “All of us except you agree the best thing to do would be to seek out this conflict and put an end to it. Our decision is final,” the creature spoke firmly. As the group prepared to fly, the concerned one put on a face showing anger, yet also pity.
The group gathered around the large crevasse carved into the ice unnaturally. The one that had disagreed stood slightly away, with apprehensiveness. As one of them began to fly down, the rest of them slowly followed, one by one, but the one that had disagreed still looked uneasy, and had stayed behind on the ledge. As the creatures began to turn into figures in the distance, the one on the ledge began to become more uneasy. Something was not right. As they melted into the background, a line of light shown from the pit. The purple opening that they had been investigating. It started as the single line, but seconds from the creatures going down, the line grew, filling up the entire crevasse. As a wave of energy blasted through the area, as screams filled the air. As the blast died out, the creature waiting on the ledge moved back. What was once the creatures that had gone down, had been discolored a bright purple, and given multiple extra eyes. As the creature that had watched this looked in horror, the other ones began to formate in front. “As evolution happens in millions of years, we have changed for the better in mere seconds. We have arisen! We have awakened!"
