I think it's the weapon

It'd be a little out-there to just randomly drop an Avatar sort of character, and her claims in the teaser seem oddly specific. So I've got a feeling her weapon is what gives her powers, and because it's able to control several elements it's nowhere near the level of magic Taliyah and Janna are capable of.
