Any LoL splash artists do tutorials?

Hi everyone.

Just wondering if any splash artists at riot or freelancers have any splash art tutorials on how they digitally paint them? I've seen Kienan Lafferty's (and omg he's great!) but was wondering if there were any other artists who make tutorials too? I'm a huge fan of Alex Flores but he doesn't seem to do any tutorials. I think all the artists are insane at what they do so any of them will be great if possible. Thanks!

Thanks very much!

I don't think any directly do detailed tutorials that I'm aware of, but most skills are transferable and artists develop their own style and workflow. You might well be aware of all this and were just looking for Riot artists in case they existed, but if you aren't then just as an fyi:

In this case, I advise finding some of your favourite content creators on Patreon (a few Riot Artists do have them like Zeronis) who also include some form of tutorial every month! Sakimichan is one who has historical done this, another is a smaller artist known as OlgaS. By combining their methods you can creator your own original style while taking inspiration from your favourite Riot splash artists! That and YouTube is an invaluable resource for tutorials. Some Riot splash arts are outsourced also to Patreon based artists like Michelle Hoefner (Arcade MF and Challenger Ahri)

Hey, I know this is pretty late. But in case someone else finds this thread I only can recommend Kienan Lafferty. As far as I know, he was a Splash Art Artist at Riot in earlier days when the champs had a more cartoonish look. He has a Youtube Channel with loads and loads of tutorial and advice and also a walkthrough of a inofficial redo of the Ahri splash-art. Sounds to me that this is exactly what you are looking for.

I think in one of his videos he said that he is back at Riot but in champion design/rework rather than in the splash-art division.
