How powerful is Renekton and Azir in lore?

Lately, the only Ascended people talk about is Nasus and Xerath but what about the other two?

It's safe to say that Renekton is the most physcially strong ascended since he specializes more on melee combat. However, how can brute force deal with magic like Nasus'?. It can be implied that Renekton is faster than him because he's more physically fit than him evem when they were children.

How about Azir though? How can sand matchup to Xerath's arcane energy? Does he have command over the Sun disc? Does he have sun magic too?

Let's say I match up Renekton vs Volibear and they fight on the fields of Noxus.

Lissandra vs Azir in the fields of Noxus as well.

Who would win?

azir would beat lissandra if he is indeed an arisen because she's basically an ice witch or more plainly, a magic wielder that uses or controls ice (so i'm not sure about the teleport thing)

renekton would beat volibear, likely being a represetation of power

I wonder how syndra factors into this as supposedly, she has infinitely growing magic at her disposal

in your question, it would likely be about who was more clever with their power

Nasus Nasus seems to gain his power based on faith(or at least, my justification of sacrifices based on his Q), so oddly enough, i'd place him as the weakest among them unless he has a legion of followers around

Xerath : raw, concentrated magical power and influence

Renekton : raw, physical power

Azir : superior numbers

in numerical order, I'd say overall: Nasus < Renekton < Azir < Xerath and syndra would probably be a tie for xerath but could be beaten by azir

If nasus had a legion of followers, he could overpower his opposition however, so it's all in the circumstances. Azir beats syndra because he has an endless army at his disposal. Syndra ties xerath because it's basically unlimited power against unlimited power, Renekton beats nasus because he can use the physical laws of the universe to his advantage as force is a basic measure for destruction

I justify azir beating syndra because although she is power hungry, she is less likely to create an extinction level event to win a fight when compared to Xerath

It is shown in the Azir trailer that he can raise entire armies out of the sand,so I'd say it is very likely that while Azir is physically stronger than your average human(or even than your average human warrior), he is inferior to Nasus and Renekton in terms of strenght.

Its also likely that Azirs power is bound to the lands of shurima,so he likely won't be able to invade other countries with his sand army or at least won't be able to recreate them there.

Overall I'd say that Azir would have a very hard time against Xerath. Xerath took much more celestial energy than any other ascended,so he is definitely stronger than any other ascended in terms of raw power and he'd likely overpower Azir, even if Azir has the homefield advantage.

Azir is arguably very close, if not same level, as Xerath while in Shurima due to his control over his homeland. Renekton would be Nasus tier, because while he doesn't use magic like Nasus does, he is his physical superior, being the 2nd physical Ascended ever (after only pre-Darkin Ascended Aatrox), and his ferocity is unrivaled. Still, Freljordian demi-gods are very close to Xerath level, one of them (Ornn, the strongest of them) being on par with Xerath and Azir in Shurima. Volibear is very close to Ornn in powerlevel. He should beat Renekton 9.5/10 due to better physical stats except maybe speed (wrestled with Ornn, who shaped Freljord's terrain through brute strenght), uses magic-like powers (aka his lighting and storms). The only advantage Renekton has is in weaponry, but when your opponent can shoot directly or call down upon you lighting, lighting storms, strikes, and other shit like that, that 1 advantage is insognificant

You can't just say x vs y go. Do they have any preparation? Are we going by lore or in game? Do they see each other at the same time? Volibear lore is much more op compared to in game.

... in the fields of Demacia? im pretty sure that Lissandra, Xerath, Azir and Volibear would have problems due the petricite.

To be short and sweet. Xerath's the strongest.
