Ryze: Call of Power | Cinematic - League of Legends
So much stuff rn.
So much stuff rn.
I love how it shows Ryze interacting with many other champions. Though I have to question his logic of putting all the world runes in one place.
That's just begging to bite him in the ass.
This is the most incredible cinematic Riot ever did in my eyes. Pure lore.
I'm speechless. Gonna watch it like 1000 times more.
That Watcher knew he is f***ed when Ryze's eyes turned blue. They only do that when Ryze is angry asf
Okay. Alright, Riot, you had my interest with the World Runes. I enjoyed watching Miss Fortune ult while jumping off a ship. I loved getting to see Ryze and Nasus fight a giant robot in the deserts of Shurima.
But you're telling me....Sona's Crescendo just...holds people and they don't IMMEDIATELY START DANCING? I'm sorry, the Lore is over now.
(I'm joking, obviously it was really well done! Fantastic work and I'm always happy to see Lore get the level of love it has in the past few days.)
Purple guy collecting multicolored stones.
RYZE GONNA PITCH SONA OFF A FUCKIN CLIFF.
Great cinematic. Only shame that we don't see more of
interacting with the other champions of the video.
I love the outfit Sona is wearing. I would love to use that in-game. And this is the first lore-thing we have with Sona AT ALL, which is really awesome! To say nothing of how these characters might be related to the World Runes in some way.
Loved seeing his interactions with other champions. Nasus was smaller than I imagined.
Heads up, the Runeterra Map has new content related to the cinematic!!
I know Ghostcrawler has a massive hard on for MF, but does she REALLY need to be in literally every single content released these days?
So sick of riot only putting the same characters in things. How many different stories has miss fortune been in now? And another cinematic for ryze, it’s be great of other characters could get flushed out and seen in different environments a bit, instead of the same few over and over again.
"The only power I truly have... is the strength to let it go."
That will be my new fav quote for Ryze, but also for whenever I play him and want to justifying me opening mid and afk. Thanks Riot.
Is that voice acting in a League cinematic? YAAAAAY!
That new voice of Ryze's is pretty damn sweet I've got to say. I like that his build in the video feels more appropriate to a magus than a fighter as well.
It’s important to consider Ryze’s understanding of magic. From the story that was just released, it’s clear that ryze can be called “enlightened”. Not only does he demonstrate an advanced knowledge of how the world works (the auroras), but he decries many of the “rules” of magic. I like the idea of a magic system that relies more on philosophical and spiritual orientation rather than crude rules and spells.
This cinematic confirms that Petricite’s anti-magic abilities are in fact, magical in nature.
One is missing, one is missing! D:
And who is the female mage of Rygann's Reach?! [New location on the map]
There seems to be a World Rune for each multiplayer rune tree, if judging by the colors.
There also seems to be one rune missing at the end of the cinematic.
The rune that seems to be missing (based on color) is Inspiration.
Didn't see a comment but did anyone else notice how all the characters that Ryze meets in this cinematic all speak to the summoner except for Ryze himself? (That I know of at least. Trundle is another one I'm unsure of as he is not one I play much). Just a small observation
