Hey rioters, a question about Kalista?

What would she do if say someone killed someone in vengeance, but the person died called upon her for even MORE vengeance? Would she kill the original?

IE: if I go after some bandits that killed my town, but the chieftain calls upon her as I kill him, what would happen?

I think I remember a Rioter stating that she doesn't care about the justification of vengeance, just the fact that it's dealt. So she might kill you. BUT she's avenging betrayal, and no one seems "betrayed" much in that situation xD

As PokeNub said, Kalista is a spirit who avenges the betrayed rather than simply acting as an agent of vengeance.

My expectation would be that Kalista does not renege on contracts as that would constitute a betrayal in her eyes. Even if her target had just cause to deal with her she would still bring about their end if she had secured a pact to that effect.

But she DOES screw over both parties. Say someone calls out to her for revenge. Well, she takes their soul for all eternity, and in return, she slays the person they want revenge on. If THAT person calls out for vengence, he either means against the person who sent her... and that guy is soulbound to her for eternity already. Or they want vengence on HER. In the later case, I'd assume she just flips them off and then kills them. Giving up your soul for eternity to be the food of a wraith is the punishment the people she "helps" get for being more concerned with revenge than just dying in peace. It's pretty cool, I think. The party she kills just kinda.... dies. Harsh, but not nearly as harsh as the eternity of hellish servitude to her in the shadow isles. Kalista PUNISHES desires for revenge. She just doesn't realize it because she herself is being punished for the same thing.

Here's my question. Why did she not mark talon as a betrayer? Or why not mark all assassins who have known to betray to reach their targets. Zed? Kat?

she only hunts betrayers.

She doesn't hunt for vengance in general, but only if you were betrayed.

Also she takes your soul the moment you make a pact with her,so there is no one left to kill after she got her target.
