Will we ever be able to buy prestige skins like prestige Kai'sa with prestige points? It seems strange that I can buy half the KDA prestige skins with points but not my girl Kai'sa's.

So far, no. The previous two were in 2018, so that's probably why they've not filtered into the 2019 roster yet (if at all). Also given that both her and Akali were tied to event passes of their own, they probably figured if you wanted them you would have gotten the pass to grind for them.

@OP you can definitely get them through crates. Coming from someone who has 934 skins, I got most of my kda from lootcrates. Sorry this is late.
