Shurima vs Noxus war?

The lead narative editor rioter replied to a post about why is a tryfarian legionare in a Shuriman city in an image from the Shuriman region by saying he would have been most likely send as an emmisary to tell Noxus will have that land one way or another, and continued by saying "If only Shurima had some sort of huge, powerfull military force and an emperor with the will and strenght to stand against Noxus... oh wait". So this is pretty much a confirmation that a Noxus vs rebuilt Shurima war will sometime in the future. Any thoughts on the outcome and how a war would play out?

I dont think that it would be a smart idea to invade the Desert of Shurima...

Not because Azir Azir has a semi infinite army of sand soldiers there. Not because Xerath Xerath is there. Not even because void creatures RekSai hunt humans as food.

I say that because... the place is literally a desert... It would be not worth, at all.

It would be an interesting matchup but I would have to say Noxus would win. Despite the power Azir holds, Shurima is not a united empire (as of the current lore) unlike Noxus. If Noxus were to call for support, everyone within the Noxian empire would heed the call. If Azir were to call for support, everyone in Shurima would be asking who put him in charge all of the sudden.

Not to mention that Noxus has extremely powerful figures such as Swain, LeBlanc, Elise, Vlad, Sion, etc. That isn't to say Shurima doesn't have its fair share of powerful peeps, but they are not all united under one cause like those in Noxus are.

Well, assuming that Noxus isn't hiding a literal god in the Immortal Bastion (which is quite possible btw), the Azir's conquering of Noxus should be pretty easy, yet remember that Azir has to deal with Renekton and Xerath first.
