Riot, How Are You Currently Trying To Unify Runeterra's Narrative?

Just to be clear, this is not a thread to bash Riot.

This thread is about discussing if the changes in lore delivery that Riot's narrative department have decided to implement are producing the best lore that they can be.

Personally, I feel that Riot's Lore delivery has become much less effective over recent years.

The way that lore is delivered now doesn't really give me any reason to care about any champion.

Each champion that is released around an event **feels **like it is connected to that event, but separate from Runeterra.

For some reason, each event has been tied to a specific place in Runeterra, and has not involved the world of Runeterra itself.

In the past, the League of Legends and the Institute of War used to help bridge the gap between these event...but unfortunately, they are no more.

Alternatively, the narrative provided in the Journal of Justice used to connect many of the dots between the nations of Runeterra, and used to make each nation feel connected to the others. Due to the removal of the Institute of War from the lore, that simply isn't the case anymore.

For some reason, Riot doesn't seem to like supporting there being any plot device connecting the lore of Runeterra anymore? Why is that?
