When did you start playing League of Legends?

So when did you start playing League of legends?

I can start, I started in sometimes around 2014 July between 05-13 and I stopped playing 2016-02-01 at the release of patch 6.2 when I finally let this game go (I actually played a couple of weeks into February, but that patch was the very last one I played actively)

Please share your story, interested in knowing when you start and if League still get's new players? And If anybody plays CS:GO I have a question - do you think riot should add the "Prime Account" thing to LoL to prevent Smurfing? It would be great, I know I don't play anymore but every once in a while I hit a game just to feel the change between the patches.

Late July 2011, right about the time that Wukong was released, near the end of Season 1. Unique passives still stacked, and Dominion didn't even exist yet. Surge and Garrison were still summoner spells, and new champions came out every two weeks.

S2 at the very end and on and off still. Last season I stopped after p3 and played CSGO to try and get global, got to smfc. This season meta is just boring in my opinon.

Never had a PC that could run it until early 2013, and even then I ran at 15 FPS at the best of times and tended to overheat occasionally. Only played bots and customs until early 2014 where I got a decent laptop for it. (Huzzah for poverty!)

I started playing summer of 2010. I had been a big dota 1 fan back in the day and a bunch of my friends told me about league so I started playing with them over the summer. I had a Mac book for college so I could only play the game when I was home for the summer or home for winter break. Eventually I got windows on my Macbook so I could play at school and then ultimately Riot came out with a Mac Client. I really started playing a lot more ranked at the end of season 2 and the start of season 3 and have played a lot more of this game than I would like to admit since. I have all champs and a trillion hours played so at this point I just feel like I can't give it up because I have so much time invested lol.

Started in the beggining of 2015, Bard was a new champion when that happened.

Was trying to understand WHY would my brother spend over half an hour playing the same game with no breaks!

This because I was used to games like TF2 where matches last max 15 minutes and if you go afk, nobody would care as long as there was space in the servers for new players.

Riven's release date. Friend of mine had been trying to get me to play. But considering I primarily played fighter games, I though the Moba was too slow. Riven was just fast enough and combo oriented. On top of that I really liked her look and her lore. So, that how I started.

Old enough that I still look for Heart Of Gold in the shop. Old enough that I still sometimes try and deny a minion with Raise Morale, only to drop a barrel and be like "what. OH!"
