Could Jax be getting a Visual Update alongside the new skin line?

This is the imagine of him on the mech which is from the Warring Kingdom/Mecha universe, but it is very identical to his in-game appearance, save having greater detail. Could this be simply his updated model? I would be disappointing if Riot wasted the opportunity with having voice-actors for all the different languages! Plus, Jax has been stated to be a high priority candidate for a Ezreal styled update! This might be Jax's big day

Heavily doubt it.

Even if not as big as complete VGUs, the Ezreal-treatment is still a big deal and would get announced like any other VGU in my opinion. There hasn't been any hint that Jax is currently worked on for a visual update, the roadmap told us that the next stuff we can expect are the updates for Volibear and Fiddlesticks, as well as an Ionian juggernaut up next. If he would get an update there, considering it is not too long til the skins drop, they would have announced it.

I think (and wish) that the next guy getting the Ezreal-treatment is Blitzcrank, considering the changes to his bio recently. Maybe they will announce it soon.
