How does Aurelion's passive work in-lore?

Strange question, but that's always something that I've thought of. If we were to see another, more combat oriented cinematic of Aurelion Sol, how would his passive work in-lore? From his current bio and color story, we can tell that he can forge stars at will of course and blast any of his enemies with a mass of bright, magical star energy, while his screaming ultimate and flying don't leave much to debate, but what about his passive? Is it just more of a visual thing in-lore? A constant halo of orbiting stars as seen in his login-screen? Or does he actually have a need to 'boop' his enemies when he can easily just throw an entire sun at 'em?

Just curious.

I would imagine instead of swirling the balls he would throw them around, maybe create some to block projectiles.

I'd imagine it's how he fights ingame, and doesn't really match what happens in lore.

Imagine a more 3D orbit like Syndra orbs floating around her.

Aurleion Sol would be gladly bombing his enemies with his burning orbiting stars while he prepares his Fus Ro Dah or ignites his star stun.

Yeah id look at it lok his lore passive isnt a boop. Hes probably literally rotating stars into things he wants to destroy if he even does that all the time at all.
