I'm not following nor complimenting the Bilgewater audio drama

Because I'm tired of all the efforts being made for the pirate count- island (is not even worth to be called country).

I've rised this concern of mine already but once again I find myself looking at an innovative, time and resource consuming way to expand and explore a faction/region that already has been the main narrative boner since the first Butcher Bridge.

We get it, priates are cool, Jack Sparrow is cool, Miss Fortune is cool.

But how do you expect other characters to get any form of popularity if them being unexplored or unpopular is caused also from them being left on the shelves?

I both agree and disagree.

Where do I agree? You are correct Bilgewater is getting too much attention. Especially with how it is the only region that has 2 big events, when most of them don't even have one.

Where do I don't agree? The new updates are for champions weren't updated with the first event. You can't blame them just because Bilgewater got already an update. They deserve it.

Sad thing is, Bilgewater is still not the most progressing region. Even with that much effort, it is still counting the steps at the same point. Only progress is MF taking over Bilgewater and cleaning GP's men.

I think I'm more annoyed by Miss Fortune than Bilgewater. Bilgewater itself is big, and some of its characters weren't updated. So I can get it behind, but Miss Fortune? This champion got too much attention.

I find downvotes unnecessary tho. You have a point, you just gave it poorly, like almost offensive.

I understand the frustration since no other region received this kind of love (except for maybe Shurima and not at this level). But personally i'm glad about this new Bilgewater event, it should be no surprise that Riot wanted to make a new huge lore event using the most successfull region (and most likely because a lot of the content was already created during Burning Tides). Now, i understand pirates might not be your thing, but try to see it this way; this may be the first step for several lore events with this kind of resources.

Wheres my Noxus and Shadow Isles event? Hell, Vlad didn't even get a lore update when Swain was released. But hey more pirates for everyone.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if a lot of this lore was originally planned for the first Bilgewater event(which always gave the champs a bio+color story) and they just finished the half-finished stuff from last time(I mean they said that Tks half-finished bio was lying around already for years).

And in the end, making an event for Bilgewater is rather easy since they already have the assets for a bilgewater map and said map is the biggest feature of the event, without it,the "event" would hardly feel like an event at all.
