Candidates for: Harrowing/Halloween (2018)

First, I'm done with finals (YAY!). Second, because nobody suggested anything from my last Candidates, I took the liberty of picking a topic out myself. And so for this week's topic, we're going to be discussing about the Harrowing/Halloween theme (of 2018).

Now for this I'm going to be splitting this into two parts: Harrowing (more dark and serious of the skinline that fits more into League's world) and Halloween (bright & colorful, certain slasher movie references, and generally what you think off around the holiday and generally are more fun).

With that, let's begin:

Let's get the Harrowing style out of the way first. It's actually not that big on here, in fact it's relatively small. There's only a handful of champs that have actually received this style. Nevertheless, the style is take a champ that's not from the Shadow Isles and make them look like their from there (essentially). It's a neat style to see and with how much playful, fun skins we've gotten in the past, I wouldn't mind seeing more of it in the future.

I'm kind of hoping he gets one of these skins one day. It's a perfect fit. Think of him as a reaper, guiding souls to the underworld with his horn. There's a good few concepts of this that I feel could work.

There's been some concept of him as a soul devouring/death lord dragon for a while and I don't see why this couldn't happen.

Basically a part of the Death Sworn, maybe similar appearance to Death from Darksiders.

Soul Reaver lineup or just some neat Shadow Isles look to him, either work.

Give him a hellish look with flames for a main. Basically turn him into Spirit Charger from Dota 2.

There was concept art for this almost as soon as Death Sworn was revealed and when that happened I wanted to buy that immediately! Trust me, look it up and tell me that doesn't look like it would sell.

Maybe give him a Soul Reaver skin similar to Draven, since they are brothers. If not then maybe go with something like from that Mobile Legends game (Yes I know what I said). Darius I feel needs a cool ghoul, spirit skin. His particles can work well, there are some creative designs in my head, there's possibility.

Brought up by very rough Death Sworn model made by someone, but from the looks of it could work. I mean, it wouldn't be so far off to have a sadist going around torturing souls.

Basically what I want to call a nightmare skin. His legs would be comprised of multiple body parts, like legs and arms. His shotgun knees has these giant skull faces that shoot out souls or soulfire or whatever. Urgot himself would almost be a blob of body parts, fused together (or maybe instead ectoplasm) and his ult could be like pulling someone down with the damned. I NEED TO START SKETCHING THIS THING OUT!

Ravenborn. Pretty Simple.

Soul Stealer. Good concept that could work (though let's not have be this year)

Soul Reaver.

Kind of a underworld feel to them. Really make them feel like they are the usual icon of death that we think of (if only that were the same about their actual gameplay).

An undead spirit, constantly looking for a worth opponent (maybe to put her to rest, or maybe she's just too good for everyone and can't be stopped).

Kind of a Kel'thuzad feel to him here. Essentially, really make him League's version of Kel, with soul based abilities, or make his sarcophagus more gothic or cryptic and many souls tied to him, moving around his body.

Some concept has her as a ghost, which would work but be basic.

Kind of be Death Sworn but may clash with Shadow Eve already or just be too redundant.

Kind of like Bard as a spirit guide, or a even more mischievous spirit

Death Sworn

Kind of a Soul Swallower, that uses those souls to forge his weapons.

Kind of a Soul Hunter with Skaarl to feed said souls to.

Underworld. Basically think if Thresh killed him but he came back through the Isles

COULD WORK WITH DEATH SWORN, but meh (imo)

Uses souls to help move the earth, or launches them in addition to the rocks.

Underworld/ Death Sworn. Pretty easy one.

Maybe work as Death Sworn, but there's also concept of her with her own theme of a coffin for a shield and much more.

Underworld/ Death Sworn or even Dracolich would be a kickass theme for her. An undead dragon look would be amazing, being a Shyvana fan. There's been a few concepts out there that if you look up, you could agree be awesome to have.

a bit redundant for going this way but hey, there still could be ideas out there.

Right, so if you haven't guessed already, I had a lot of ideas for the Harrowing side. And so for the Halloween side you can guess I don't have much. In my defense, it's actually hard to try to think of a lot of good skins that are colorful and Halloween-y but either really fun or still have some grit. On top of that, there's already a lot of skins that Riot has made for this style.

While Vi surprisingly doesn't have her Demon skin listed as a Harrowing/Halloween skin (at least on the wiki) I feel I should throw this one in this section, simply because of Teemo's skin. So, idea is basic: Shaco. Demon. What more could you ask for?

Idk...succubus????? If that's still her current lore?????

HE'S A GIANT PUMPKIN! THE GREAT PUMPKIN! PUMPKING THE KING OF GHOSTS!

Karthulhu!!! Really neat concept, sounds and looks fun, find the concept of this. It's well made.

Kind of go for more of the axe wielding murderer look if you so please. (Could also go Frankenstein's monster after writing Mundo below).

Similar deal with going more of a serial killer look, maybe an official meat cleaver or even scarier REVERT BACK TO HIS EARLIEST CONCEPT MODEL!!!! Or also just kind of go Frankenstein's monster. Have electricity for his W, Q is electric powered, ult adds lightning and makes him big, blue and pulsating.

Again, kind of go for more of a serial killer feel. Hockey mask, blood stained shovel, overalls, actual tomb stone on his back secured by chains. It has potential.

Bewitching. Could be some fun and step away from the whole light theme a tiny bit.

He's made out of cardboard!!! (Yeah not my best idea)

Devil. Kind of simialr to Little Devil and Demon in a sense, plus concept has been floating for a while now.

Batrox: he's like a giant bat. Or even go to being like a vampire like Warhammer themed or even more classical (see Arthas in HotS). With how he is right now and (potentially) how his rework is, this could be a fun skin for him to have a bit.

Found some concept art of her as a sorceress with her gun shooting magic. Good concept, but also found her more as a vampire hunter/Helsing. Also a neat idea.

Similar to Caitlyn in the Vampire hunter/Helsing theme.

The Vampire the two above are hunting. Q is a bat swarm, W has a little bat you can send out and is around you, E could be more bats, it's a fun idea. There's also Bewitching as well, along with that more Dark Souls theme skins that Kayle, Nocturne and Singed got.

Some concept art of him as an executioner. Could be fun but not sure how exactly it would work.

Mad Scientist. Kind of to end off, basically the classic cartoon mad scientist with robo-arms. Just wanted a fun skin for Viktor since all he has is Spooky ghost, full robot, take over world full robot, and past Viktor.

WOW that's a lot of concepts I just listed down! Again, most of these are listed because of concept art I found, but there are a few that I came up with (I'll let you figure out which ones those are).
