Day 4, still going strong. I was looking forward to this day, because it includes one of my personal favourite stories as well as my favourite region. I do like Demacia and the ideals of justice and honor it is supposed to embody. Furthermore, I love Cithria for that exact reason. So it's pretty clear how I'll vote, but I still want to try and be impartial.

#####What makes a Demacian?

We're moving away from the color stories again, and moving into Demacian territory. Coincidentally, both stories also teased important characters that would later appear as full champion or at least as recurring NPC with multiple cards in Legends of Runeterra.

In the first story, Demacian Heart, a young boy is caught between his values and his country. When his failure leads to the death of his mentor, chaos ensues. In the second story, Cithria and her squad are tasked with escorting an important target to the capital. In Meltridge, there is Turmoil because a serial killer, worse, a mage escaped from prison, but they manage to bring everyone home safely.

Darkness is a gift!

Both stories are really good, to be fair. I am still gonna go with Turmoil. I like the light tone of it. And admittedly I do have an anti-Sylas bias, but that may be because I've been oversaturated with him and the fact that he's gotten quite some content for such a recent champion.

Story-wise, both stories are interesting. But Turmoil wins it for me because it shows the good in Demacia, which is something a lot of people have complained about. Also my Anthony Reynolds bias, I guess? :')

This one's really hard. I really loved the entirely of Demacian Heart... up until the ending. And I hate how they've followed it up, Sylas is boring outside of this story. Turmoil is great all-around, so I think I'll go with that because I'm not disappointed in it after the fact. I liked Demacian Heart more, but it's also disappointed me more.

Wait, why nobody told me we do that Lore Tournament again? I'm disappointed in all of you.

Anyway, Turmoil for sure. It is one of the rare stories there I get the feeling that there is a peaceful solution for a problem which I would love to see more in League. Also, it did introduce Cithria which also a big important thing to add as well.
