actually the ascended were granted assencion through kind deeds and had to be chosen by the gods to ascend. So the ascended, were not in fact, dicks. Renekton became crazy after spending millenia with xerath, xerath was a dick who used his friend, Nasus is all alone, and became kind of delusional when renekton went nuts. (well he more just lost his way really)
