How one gains power in Runeterra(The new lore)

I'm going to try and explain this from a pseudo tier-list. The different paths to power in Runeterra:

1. Magic: doesn't have to have much explanation. Magic apparently can do anything..

2. Runes: Are generally regarded as WMDs. Getting your hands on one gives you a good increase on the power scale and seemingly new abilities. Example can be Yago from Ryze's story.

3. Ascension: Apparently, Ascension isn't just a shurima thing. More of a benefit from the mysterious Targon aliens. Doesn't just happen in Shurima either according to the new lore. Getting ascended grants you a host of abilities ranging from size growth, animalisitc features, power to age enemies, whole body structure changed into arcane energy along with being able to shoot this energy as well, the power to will your energy to transform your body(Darkins), elongated life although not immortal as well as many other abilities. Imo, it sounds like a set up for random power generated for anyone in runeterra thanks to the new lore.

4. ** Demonic contracts: ** Following Swain's story, one can infact make contracts with demons to gain new abilities. However, Swain is the only one known to date to have subjugate a demon(I'd like think he did so to make sure the Demon would't backstab him and overtake his body in the long run, parallel to darkins. We also know that Tahm kench can giveyou new abilities if you agree to his deals. However, it could be taken away in the long run given his nature. Nocturne and Evelynn may possibly be able to do the same. Although the thought of a woman making a contract with Evelynn kinda shudders me. I would hate to come across a person who can do what eve does.

5. Undeath: Would mainly be related to number 1, which is magic. But hows different forms. The whole Shadow Isles would be the center of this path. Undeath seemingly is related to the spirit realm in a way. So the dead can do things the living can't. Ranging from typical ghost abilities, to hellish things like what Thresh can do. Kalista was just a regular warrior, after undeath she can claim betrayers' souls, if we're going to go by if she was in a gun/arror fight with some one: unlimited spectral arrows, and can appear where she is summoned. There's different types of necromancy, one can be amumu and the other a mysterious fish in the ocean.

6. Hextech: The fusion of technology and magic, hextech can make, if not, almost anything possible with the right mind. Inventions include armory, artificial hearts, a device that can control time and seemingly space, artificial bodies if we go by Oriana's story, and many other useful inventions. It's used in the daily life of Piltover. Although, Ionia is on the move making there very own ala Jhin and can probably do a better job since they probably have better knowledge of magic. A person with intelligence could become very powerful, with the right devices.

7. Chemtech: I would put this in the same tier as Hextech, but chemtech can be very unstable and can even result in death. Checmtech is generally a product of Zaun, and is sought out purely for augmentations. One can acquire new abilities by adding on more augments. A good example would be Urgot, Noxian headsman turned monstrosity. Although he could put up more of a fight to magical creatures vs an ordinary human. Chemtech can also trans-mutate, Singed turned Warwick into a semi-mechanical were wolf. That's honestly the most unique were- wolf I've seen in fantasy.

8. Magical Weapons I do suppose there are a lot of magical weapons lying around the world that is just waiting to be picked up. An ordinary human could more than likely win in a duel against another person with a regular weapon.

9. Skilled: Ranges from martial arts to knowing how to use weapons. I would love to say someone like Yasuo fits this description, however Riot recently stated he uses wind magic.......Anyway, there are many skilled swordsmen and swordswomens that can put up a fight without using cheap tricks that use magic.

Thought I'd just list some routes to power currently for the new lore.
