I guess this is the only region that deserves big gameplay/champion releases/Lore and so on.
I get it, pirates sell as much as anime girls.
If you happen to like something a bit less popular this isn't the game for you.

Yeah its a bit jarring that other factions didn't get events like this,even if this event is rather small(some special loot,new emotes,2 skins and the faction icon are the only new things).
In general I feel like they might plan to make this an event that could return whenever they update a bilgewater champ/VGU(just add a new skin and a few emotes and let the butchers bridge/event tokens return) and I hope that they could do something like this for every faction eventually.
I'm really excited they're bringing back the Bilgewater map, honestly, and the upcoming ARAM changes were much needed. I agree it'd be nice to give attention to other regions as well, though; how long has it been since Demacia or Bandle City got a new champion? Seems like Ionia (and to a lesser extent, Bilgewater?) gets all the hype these days.
That's really kinda weird, especially since Bilgewater is such a small faction in the game.
If they had done this with Ionia, it would at least make sense, since that region has many and popular champions. But what is so standing out about Bilgewater? Well, I just hope they do somethingnlike this some day for Piltover and Zaun...
