When are we going to learn more about the Targonian's religion?

After thinking about it for a short while, I came to the shocking realization that we actually know next to nothing about the religions of Mount Targon. These people are characterized as heavily religious, so much so to hunt down those who believe differently (heretics), yet we don't know what they actually believe, nor do we know what they practice. Some basic questions:

On the Solari:

  1. What are their tennants? Just "the sun is good, the moon is bad"?
  2. How do they pay respect to the sun? Does it need them to do so?
  3. How does their religion play into their daily routine?
  4. Do they believe in other deities as well?

On the Rakkor:

  1. Do they also worship the sun? Do they also shun the moon? (presumably yes)
  2. What are their tennants? Are they the same as the Solari?
  3. Why do they keep climbing the mountain if so few people come back? Like, religious fervour can only go so far, surely they would recognize it as a meat grinder at some point.
  4. How is their training related to their religion?
  5. Do they believe in all the aspects of celestial Targon?
  6. Do they really just train so many to fight off barbarian clans? How many clans can Targon actually support? (maybe more poor research on my part)

On celestial Targon (which I know will never be answered):

  1. Are they all aspects/ deities, or do they just live among them? Population estimate?
  2. What is their society like? Do they function as a society, or just indivuals? Population wide telekinetic link?
  3. Do they have ideals they stick to? Or are they just giving people powers "because we live in the universe and it would be cool if it didn't end"? Seriously, without knowing their motivations they just feel so dull. At least if they were indifferent bastards it would make us feel something about them.

These questions need more than one sentence answers (for the most part). These are things which define the Targonian culture. I'm amazed that Demacia, whose lore update was 2 years ago, has more of this kind of development than Targon, who not only had an update a year ago with Zoe, but is arguably core to the overarching universal plot. I know there's at least a hundred things the lore team could be working on, but I think when an entire region's culture is based off of religion, it's pretty important that we know something about their religion.

Edit: I had a suspicion I was forgetting something, and indeed, we do know of the Rakkor's beliefs. They are detailed in Leona's bio, training for the war at the end of the world. They also fight the things that descend from the top of the mountains, not just raiding clans. Little strange how the Rakkor's poster boy Pantheon mentions nothing of this. We also know some vague notions of the Solari's vision of the sun, it is the source of all life. Not really enough to satisfy my questions, but I admit, I was wrong, we know a little.

Most of this is answered already

Solari

  1. Something to that extent "he sun is the source of all life. To them, all other light sources are false"
  2. There's a picture of a solari prayer room in the universe/map. Something about waiting for the sun to reach the perfect height where it illuminates a room and then they can #praisethesun it's called Temple of the Solstice in the map "This shrine was constructed to showcase major celestial events,... etc etc"
  3. Prayer, Praise the sun, slay dem heretics, aspire to climb mount targon one day rinse repeat
  4. Most religions that persecute others are monotheistic. By design it's hard to vouch for your god being the one true god when you have more than one. Ima go with no.

Rakkor

  1. "A name meaning “Tribe of the Last Sun,” the Rakkor worship the power of the sun's light above all else. "
  2. Worship the Sun + their original belief of worshiping battle before the Solari became the dominant religion "Rakkor priests teach that when their sun is destroyed, all will diminish into darkness, so its warriors must be ready to fight those who seek to extinguish its light. To the Rakkor, battle is an act of devotion, an offering to keep the sun's light shining."
  3. You have not been paying attention to our real world history (and current events) if you think threat of death is a deterrent when it comes to expressing religious fervor.
  4. "To the Rakkor, battle is an act of devotion, an offering to keep the sun's light shining."
  5. The Aspects aren't something you need to have faith in since they regularly walk the world through hosts in the flesh, the belief in Targon is more centered on the Sun and Moon/ Rakkor belief in battle
  6. The Rakkor are the biggest tribe by far. That's probably how the Solari stay in power since they are actually fewer than the Rakkor and if the Rakkor wanted they could probably obliterate them, luckily for the Solari the Rakkor are indoctrinated to their faith. All the other tribes on the block couldn't tangle with them on a large scale.

Celestials (less so touched on)

  1. In a star spanning empire that probably numbers in the trillions I doubt it. They probably just have a "pantheon" (hehe) of appointed officials that create their little Aspect puppets across the universe.
  2. Empire so Ima go with society. They may use some form of celestial magic to connect with each other and create Aspects and the like. Would be funny if the only reason prospective Aspects had to climb Mount Targon was that it's the only place the Celestials can get their magic wifi to connect
  3. We know through Aurelions' story that they have a star empire to manage. Hence the Aspects they use to manage/ keep eyes on things. Some Aspects maintain most of their control (all of them feel different/ more under the surface) Aspects like Pantheon are completely consumed. The Aspects are an extension of their reach since they can't be everywhere at once. If they didn't directly manipulate events to create the faith that they use to control people in Mount Targon than they were at least content to let it happen because it suited their needs. They helped Shurima create their own Sun Disc to help them out during the Void War. They're like Leagues Illuminati manipulating events across the galaxy to suit their needs. Their ultimate goal is to control the spread of the Void most likely because it is antithetical to all life. This is the only thing I'm really extrapolating on and Riot needs to explore further.

Everything else I feel has plenty of information. Enough so to get a feel for what Targon is as a region.
