Also, dang, I really wanna know if Riot has any concept art of some of the things in this story, and if they're allowed to share it. Particularly the river man.

Pretty good, but I'm kind of confused as to why Thresh killed Senna. The deal was he let her go if Lucian sold his soul right? Is that why Lucian isn't fully possessed by Thresh? Is the grinning shadow even Thresh? Man, this lore is sick, I wish we could see a continuation of this.

... not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of this one. It felt disjointed and messy.
It was really obvious that the story wanted to make our 3 new High Noon skins the centerpiece with as many of the other skins featuring as possible. There's nothing wrong with doing that in and of itself, mind, but the execution is what kills it. In particular, Urgot's entire segment where he confronts Lucian at night feels unnecessary. It has nothing to do with the central throughline of Lucian going to meet Karthus.
Now, Urgot's story actually ties pretty well into what happened to Senna; Thresh made a deal with Lucian to spare Senna's life, then ripped out her heart to turn her into a monster like Urgot was halfway to becoming, thus screwing Lucian. That's a good set-up and it's a classic case of a devil's bargain gone horribly wrong.
But the thing is, you kinda get that from the story with the Outsider taking Urgot's heart anyway. And the way it's paid off is dull and (apparently, judging from some comments about how Senna was "murdered") confusing. We never actually see what happens to Senna, which kinda ruins the idea. And Urgot just kinda shows up appropo of nothing and drops his entire backstory onto someone who is basically nothing to Urgot, beyond the fact that he's lost his soul.

I've seen enough westerns to know how this ends.
