I am a Jax main and it’s really unfortunate that Jax hasn’t had a visual update in so long, we barely have any information on his character, his story is dry and does not contribute to the world of runeterra much, and is no where to be found on the map of runeterra. I’d greatly appreciate if this was changed.
Jax's background is revealed in arguably the best written story in all of League lore, Where Icathia Once Stood. Blood Magicks already linked it for you. It's hard to imagine a more momentous, world-changing event in Runeterra than what took place that day, and Jax was in the thick of it.
I agree with you about the VU. He desperately needs one.
Plus, he is on the map. South of the Void, click "Icathia." You'll find him and someone else there.
He has an amazing story, easily my favourite League story so far. Graham is a master of the craft.

Jax already has the best story; Hes Chuck Norris. He'll slap a void watcher with a cardboard tube and it will go crying back to its mother.
He recently got an update to the animations on his basic attacks.
