What aether wings kayle should be

I made this quick thing on photoshop, she's currently a MESS with those clunky ugly wings.

So I added some blue lights, some "laser" wings/feathers and mooved the side parts so they look more like side wings and not just random flying pieces of fabric.

I think they just missed the point here, they don't need to do a tons of adjustments, just a few glowy effects and some laser/feathers parts.

For the last form I think the black is ok, but turning all the blue parts bright yellow/orange/red and also the spells in the same color could be dope.

The actual skin is so disappointing... I cry

This looks much better. The wings still look like wings in that. Also we need the old Auto attack sounds back.

maybe not quite so much glow but the elongated energy elements and keeping the gold color at t4 is exactly right. also fitting a third set of wings to match the other skins so long as it didnt bunch too much would also be best

Am I the only one who loves the current lv11 and lv16 forms on aether wing kayle? I personally think its top 10 skins for me once you reach lv 11.

Cool! Kind of looks like pre-rework frostblade irelia (RIP). That said, I like the dark theme too. Won't be surprised if we get some chromas at one point (including one similar to your recolor), I think the skin has a potential. The thing is that they probably want to have her ascended form stand out from the previous ones, the color changes on every skin past lvl 16 I think?

I feel the final form colors (Riot's version) can still be improved. I don't like how the black is working with the other colors.

I like those a lot more than the original indeed.

I can see why they gave her just a "jet-pack" kind of thing but these wings are awesome and more in thematic.

Well done man, this really shows how little riot give a shit when reworking a champ besides push it on pbe a day after reveal. When someone who isnt a dev can create something infinitely better through photoshop

Used to be my favorite Kayle skin. Now I won't even touch that atrocity. I don't want to look like a 747 flying at people. I wanted a badarse flying angel of death. I don't want to look like I should be delivering passengers across Runeterra.

Actually, new 3rd and 4th tier forms of Kayle look like a flying Mecha Urgot suite with added some crappy "IMMA JUSTICE, SCUM" voice lines. Don't like it.

The two side things around her legs are supposed to be hover turrets I think, but at the same time I agree it needs more glowing effects and stuff, I half expected when Kayle went to form 3 or 4 she would lose the tech components and become more like Inumuta from Kill La Kill, his first form is all cables, armor and keyboards. His MKII form makes him into a living hologram basically which would be an ideal for Aether Blade Kayle's final form

Definite improvement. If riot wants to turn Kayle into a Gundam, might as well do it right. I'm not a fan of Gundam Seed, but this work really shows off the Gundam Strike Freedom motif that they were clearly inspired by. I didn't like the funnel system (satellite turrets) riot gave Kayle, but THIS looks nice.
