In Jayce's Full Metal skin, he's the darling of a techno fighting league, backed by RiotCorp. Meanwhile poor Viktor seems to have arbitrarily been stuck as a janitor.

Except this time it doesn't appear to be Jayce's fault. Like, at all. As far as we know, he didn't actually do anything wrong. He just got lucky that RiotCorp backed him and then he fought other robots good.

So Robot Jayce might be less of a jerk than Meatbag Jayce.

What was the point of making Jayce a bad guy and Viktor a "misunderstood genius"?

Why did Riot decide "hey this guy literally modeled after the Golden era Superman should be a right [jerk] for no reason. And in exchange, MechaHitler wants to exterminate all organic life but he's really just a good guy who didn't get laid in college :'("
