Anyone else dislikes Riot's legacy vault system?

I think this system is really a failure in terms of implementation and especially how riot uses it. I keep getting disappointed when I want a certain champions skin only to find out it has been put into the vault and there is no way to tell when, if ever, I'll be able to get it.

I'm fine for the special event skins like harrowing or snowdown to be only available once a year or so but then there is a group of skins that got vaulted due to them being outdated at the time or some other reason. A lot of these skins got updated along champions vu's and look great but are still unavailable for purchase. It's just a waste and annoying when the only skin you like for a champion is unavailable for no good reason.

I hope riot finds a better way of making these skins available to players either make more sales for them or just take the updated ones out of the vault.
