Alisters lore is in line to be revamped, and Darkwill has already been changed greatly. He is no longer the eternal necromancer general, just an old man who eventually became a puppet for Leblanc
Plus in old-lore Keiran was already killed, we would be more likely to get Dreyth who left the capital after Brian's death, keiran was the younger brother iirc
