@Riot, From A Design Standpoint, How Did You Make Your Decision To Retcon The Lore?

To be perfectly clear, I just am asking from a design perspective, because Riot's retcon decision is actually a pretty interesting design choice.

Let's keep that random hate and stupid comments out of this thread and talk game design, because that might be kinda interesting.

@Riot, and LoL players, let's talk about the pros and cons of the retconned lore vs the old lore.

**@Riot, why did you decide to move away from producing bi-weekly lore to producing event lore a few times a year? **

Personally, while I find the current event lore fairly well written and engaging, It doesn't really feel connected to the world. We've yet to see any political strife between factions which almost gives off the sense that each nation is operating within a vacuum. Riot has yet to actually produce anything of quality that has multiple nation's interacting in the new lore.

I think that we don't get enough of the day to day lore of Runeterra anymore that used to be provided by the JoJ. If Riot no longer want's to support that medium of lore delivery that's fine, but it would be nice to have a sufficient replacement.

Considering that we had a ton of that cool stuff in the old lore...and they aren't producing any now...it's kinda high time they did in my opinion.

Also, one of the most interesting parts of LoL's lore was the political intrigue of the Institute of War. I grudgingly accept that Riot doesn't want it to exist anymore, but It should at least be replaced with something.

I know that I'm asking you a lot of question's here Riot, but I feel that they are all interesting questions that when answered, will shed a lot of light on Riot's current creative direction and I look forward to Red responses, assuming any Rioter's care enough to respond to me.
