commando and crimson elite could both use generous dollop of love. they have potential as concepts but the art leaves a lot to be desired. imo these skin lines are the ugliest skin lines with good potential in the game

Commando skinline should be part of the same universe as Omega Squad.

Funny because I recently opened a chest and got Crimson Elite Riven lol, I wanted to disanchant it because it's not that good of a skin but I thought I would hold on to it in case there would ever be a skin update.

Yeah I agree all the Crimson and Commando (minus Galion) skins look just rechid.

Seems like, as per the reveal of the pre-finalized Irelia splash, RIOT often has art interns do splash.

Since these skins are pretty cheap and relatively old, I wouldn't be that surprised if the splash/art was done by interns/newly hired artists, explaining the quality. Probably a good chance that alot of the older, 'worse' splash arts are made by some of the people who are making some of the amazing splash art we've been seeing lately.

I do agree that new splashes would be nice, but I don't think that a rework would happen (especially to the actual skin) unless the champion themself gets a VGU. If it did, I think the skin prices would hike, and being mid/low tier skins seems to be the point of alot of these skins in the first place.

It kind of feels as though Crimson Elite was shafted to make space for the Blood Moon skin line tbh.

After seeing this post way back in the day, I was really hoping to see a full line up of Crimson Elite skins. There had even been rumors of Crimson Elite Katarina, which I believe may have been renamed to High Command.
