His generals, souls that were worthy to die at his own hand when he last walked the physical realm, stand at attention. None so much as flinch in response. None will move without his direct command.

All in all, Morde's whole savior facade drops real fast. Even if the only "afterlife" is the depressing gray one Morde got, and we have a Rioter tweet saying it isn't, it's still a better bet for most people than Mitna Rachnun. If you're an average "weak" soul, your options are:

-Become anguished construction material -Fade away -Possibly literally anything else

And if you're strong, replace the first option with "be a living chess piece." It's no wonder Mordekaiser has to force people into his realm, no one in their right mind would go there willingly.
