@Riot, Your New Lore Direction Feels Very Boring and Generic

To me, Summoners and the Institute of War were unique interesting concepts that made Runeterra worth learning about, and set it apart from generic fantasy worlds.

In my opinion, it feels kinda boring not to have summoners or a place like the Institute of War where champions from different parts of Runeterra can believably and peacefully interact with each other, even if they want to kill one another.

It seems like Riot's plan is probably to make multiple events take place in different regions of Runeterra, and to retcon each champion into belonging to one of those regions. To me, this seems like a boring and simplistic approach that inhibits champions from interacting with other champions outside of their region.

How are we going to get stories like the ones about Blitzcranks dating service now? Or how about Morgana's bakery?

I could be wrong, but to me, Riot seems to be trying to commercialize Runeterra at the expense of its lore.

In my opinion, it almost seems like Riot is dumbing down their lore to appeal to the lowest common denominator in order to make lore appealing to the masses that don't even really care about lore in the first place, which is kinda sad.

Furthermore, the new lore seems to be very centered about champions that are either being released or reworked, which kinda makes it feel like the few lore updates we do get are a attempt to get us to shell out more money.

In my opinion, Runeterra feels like it's losing the charm and interaction between regions that it had before.

To me at least, it's becoming a bit boring and generic, which is such a shame considering the potential that it had in its previous incarnation.
