Ranked Queues Are hard to Follow

So, I used to play League a bunch and reached Plat right before I stopped playing back in November. I recently got back into League and most things seem great and I like how you can now queue into a specific role in ranked, however I have been having difficulty with clarity in the new queues. I cannot tell you how many times I have missed a ban because I didn't even realize it was my turn to ban and then I get pinged as a leaver for not picking a hero to ban. It's incredibly frustrating to have to wait 5 mins, then 30 mins, and then 5 mins again the next day because I could not recognize the transitioning from who is banning, picking, etc. I think the reason why it is difficult to recognize the change in hero select because the text indicating which summoner is selecting is very stale; sure it changes to reflect the correct summoner name, but it would be nice if the text had an animation with louder sound, or maybe larger text, something to grab someone's attention by saying "IT IS YOUR TURN TO PICK/BAN"
