About the new Blitz skins

I hope everyone can tell this isn't just a random spur of the moment thing they decided to do with the Blitz skin while they were developing it, as they said in the new /dev article. This is riot testing the waters for a new way of delivering skins/chromas. The Blitz skins are basically fancy chromas with some model, texture, splash and particle differences and they are putting a 1350rp price tag on both of them. Personally I think this is a bit much considering it takes less work making 2 skins as similar as these compared to making two separate new skins and there should definitely at least be a discount for those owning one of those skins and consider buying the other one. We'll probably see more of this in the future as they indicated in the article.
