In this teaser picture for the new jungle assassin, we see a machine cutting down trees. Seems to have hextech designs. Is this jungle close to Piltover and they are cutting it down for ressources?
Does this mean there is a potential major conflict between the people of this jungle and Piltover? Or was this just created as a teaser image because it "looked cool"?

You can see the outlines of the people more clearly, they don't look human. Gives me "Children of the Forest" vibes.
The machine is from Piltover, no doubt. And there is a large jungle south of Piltover / Zaun, Noxus does not seem to be able to come through it. (Edge of the world )
Maybe Piltover is better equipped for that? And what would they find there? A new civilisation, but also other things?

I mean, Piltover isn't terribly far from Kumungu on the map, it's just south of them, and separates their strip of land from the deserts. I think the bigger takeaway from this image is the potential "elven" characters hiding in the trees who will FINALLY give Kumungu some relevance to the grand scope of everything.
I fucking called it dude. Kumungu secret society reminiscent of the Mayan civilization here we come
