Is Nunu an Ice/Snow mage now?

Unlike before when only Willump spat out ice chunks and did anything ice related, it seems like Nunu have some sort of snow bending/generating abilities.

When creating a snowman and pulling/throwing snowballs out of nowhere, Nunu seems heavily involved. Even more, when they use their ultimate, Nunu is floating and his hands are glowing.

My wild guess is that both Nunu and Willump possess magic powers or only one of them possess magic but is a catalyst for the other. I can't wait to know more about them.

Read the newnu Bio, Willump gives Nunu the ability to perform Ice magic.
