After all the speculation surrounding Varus's corruption and his status as a darkin, it's nice to finally get a definitive answer. This just makes me wish for a darkin-themed Varus VGU :)

Varus cant be the darkin... because Varus is the name of the Ionian Human. Sure, his bow (or the pants) could be, but he isnt.
It looks like Varus isn't fully darkin, just partially corrupted by his bow. Not too far away from Kayn's situation, just in the middle

So is Varus' bows name Pallas? Because it came from the Pit of Pallas?
I think Varus is what Kayn becomes if he defeats the weapon, he already defeated the Darkin so is now something like the master of it or whatever you wanna call it.
Varus being a darkin corruption makes sense. The Darkin represent the 4 horseman of the apocalypse. Aatrox is war and carries the sword and the well of blood, Rhaast is death and weilds the scythe and the souls of the damned, Varus' darkin is Conuest who used a bow. Which makes sense to varus' lore saying that the Darkin empowered him during a moment of conquest (noxus taking over ionia). Lastly we need Famine who carries a scale, and famine could be the mage. (Riot may throw in pestilence too though typically pestilence and conquest do not appear together... maybe pestilence could be a support Darkin)
Well they might elaborate on that more on release. Whenever new champs (or reworks, Galio and WW) with certain lore they wanna update too comearound they usually make some stories and tweak some bios of other champs right? So maybe Varus will get an update thing confirming full Darkin or if he's just a Kayn type human that hasn't been fully possessed yet (but definitely isnt strong enough to win the fight against it)
Anybody else get the feeling that the Darkin are essentially the four horsemen of the apocalypse? Rhaast has pretty much confirmed that he's death, Aatrox is War, and Varus is pretty much confirmed to be the host of yet another Darkin, which is an easy shoe-in for Pestilence.
Yeah I wonder how his lore will be changed. I mean his bow isn't the source of corruption in his current lore,so will they actually turn his bow into the thing that he was supposed to guard?
Or maybe Pallas is a darkin that died a long time ago and was somehow able to reincarnate using the bow of Varus as a vessel?
