Well... with Sylas release it's more than obvious that Riot writers don't like Demacia or are just pandering to the"V for Vendetta" fanbase rather than making a balanced asset of good and evil of a society.

They will surely come telling us "But this is Sylas opinion and it's like that because blah blah blah". No it's not only Sylas vision, it's basically all the narrative we get about Demacia, a country that seems actually the one where is more safe living without getitng stabbed in the back for sport nor getting into troublesome Vastayan/Spirit realm/Shadow punks/Noxian invasion buisness turned into Orwell's 1984.

I do kinda get the feeling that the writers don't actually like Demacia, at least not when compared to Noxus. But, eh, maybe it will get interesting once they run through the oppressed mage plot.

I feel like they are going with the "the good guys are not necessarily good guys" and "the bad guys are not necessarily the bad guys" a little too harshly, but that might just be me.

It seems like, from my perspective, that Riot is only interested in talking about how a society like Demacia is doomed to fail, but not how a society like Noxus might be doomed to fail.
