I'm not sure if this has been asked previously, and if it has i apologize.
I was curious as to if the hero Poppy is looking for is actually Taric and that the hammer belongs to Taric. Taric is from demacia and uses a hammer as well, except he abandoned his duties and was exiled. I'm just curious what you all think regarding this. (I started thinking about this after reading the comics and the lores)
Poppy IS the hero that Poppy is looking for.
Please, do not talk low of my main and lessen her capabilities. She does that enough as is. Poppy's hammer belongs to Orlon. Which is why it is referred to as "The Hammer of Orlon." Orlon being, like, a father figure for her. Poppy is the hero she is looking for, but she thinks so little of herself that she's been on a mad quest to find the rightful owner.
Think of it like someone who is mildly attractive, but thinks that they're either ugly or nobody would ever really like them. If someone does like them or flirt, that person will never know because they dismissed that possibility before it even appeared.
Poppy is the true Hero of Demacia and the wielder of Orlon's Hammer.

in the comic and lore it mentions a "light that would shine down" when the true hero performed an act of... heroism, what else? The light signified that they were the true wielder of the hammer. In this comic, on the very last page, after Poppy kills the monster threatening the village, lights shine down on her, but she's so focused on what's ahead and finding the "true hero" that deserves it, she doesn't notice them.
