Riot should take LOL lore to a next level, comic?

I am pretty confident that LOL has the richest lore in games of this category. I havent seen any other game that pays so much attention to the lore, designs of the characters and their skins, soundtracks, etc. Creating the LOL Universe was a great step forward, into expanding the LOL lore, however, I feel like that is not enough to present all the potential of it. I was positiley shocked about Camille comics and I do think comics, or maybe graphic novels are brilliant ways for Riot to expand LOL Lore. I am not sure all LOL fans would squirm in happiness to be bale to get something alike. Id love to have a graphic novel, or comics which could be about the stories of the champions, their relations with one another and about the factions they live in. I do hope one day Riot will consider this ^^

Consider it considered.

Riot did recently hire somebody to be their Senior Editor of Comics, so I feel they have the thought already in motion

Please take the following into consideration:

  • How frequent a release schedule are we talking about? Weekly, monthly, annual big book? Riot has a difficult time with schedules as it is, so expecting a high quality effort on a regular basis might not be the best thing from this company.
  • How many resources can Riot dedicate to this project? Every comic series has from six to twelve people working on it, from a writer to any number of artists, editors and other important tasks. And remember, while these people are working on the comic, they're not working on League.
  • What style of artwork do we want? Japanese manga, American comics, photo-realistic, "whatever best fits the story?" Not every artist can work in every style.
  • Which stories are we going to tell? Do we want the focus on what's currently being worked on or do we want to explore older or untold stories?
  • Who is the target audience? There are more non-English speakers who play League than those who do.

I'd love to see the occasional comic, but I'd also like to see just as much of an emphasis on "walls of text."

They wont, they stated they want to use various means of media to get their stories out.....a consistent comic might feel limiting to them.
