Zilean & Icathian Mage Kings

Where Icathia Once Stood - Universe of League of Legends

So with the Void recently having some of it's Lore Revamped with the addition of Kai'Sa, RIOT Scathlock reminded us that our Old Friend Zilean is from Icathia (Formerly from Urtistan, which was a region that was south of Demacia & west of Shurima in the old canon). Here's an Excerpt from his in-game Lore: "Once a Powerful Icathian Mage, Zilean became obsessed with the passage of time after witnessing his homelands destruction by the Void" He also mentioned that the only reason Zilean was left out of the Void Lore update was that it would be better to Relaunch him first before giving him new lore (Just Like Evelynn when the Shadow Isles was given new lore with Yorick's Relaunch).

In the Short Story "Where Icathia once stood", it was mentioned that Icathia had what was called "Mage Kings". Now what I'm assuming is that these beings were Sorcerers/Mages that ruled over Icathia (Whether they were Benevolent or Tyrannical is unknown). Now what I would like to know is if Zilean was a Powerful Icathian Mage, would he have been considered a Mage King as well? Or are Mage Kings an entirely different position from Zilean altogether? Did he ever interact with these beings or did he operate alone on his own accord?

Perhaps when Zilean is Relaunched in the future, he might end up becoming one of those guys. Guess we'll have to wait & see what will become of him.

Patiently waiting for Zileans full Icathian name that states his birth name, mothers name, fathers name, occupation / social standing, and clan name like how Jax got it (or should I say Saijax Cail-Rynx Kohari Icath’un).

Zilean can't be a Mage King if he watched his homeland be destroyed by the Void. The last Mage King died when Shurima conquered Icathia.

Also, presumably, the Mage Kings are kings-- who were also mages. That's it. Zilean wouldn't be a Mage King because he wasn't a king. He wouldn't have interacted with these fellows because the last one died 1000 years before Icathia was swallowed by the Void.

Chances are he was "just a normal" mage at the time or maybe even a student.

Otherwise he´d pay big role in the war which he seemingly does not.

Of all the champs who need relaunching, Zilean is the one I want to see most. I think his archetype holds so much potential.

Wait, Evelynn had a lore update alongside all Shadow Isles champions...

I think he might have just been a regular mage.

I'd assume there's only one mage king at a time, and making zilean the strongest sorcerer wouldn't make sense. Zilean most likely isn't even from the same time, but rather from Jax' time.

If he was he's surely have been present in the battle, yet he's never mentioned.

However, in Vel Koz's lore he visits a tower full of new things to him. This was most likely Zilean's home as he's related to zilean and time magic is mentioned. This would also mean zilean is quite powerfull, being able to protect a tower from the void. But at the same time not powerfull enough to stop Icathia's demise.
