In my opinion, the yordle who needs a visual update is 
, because he doesnt look like a yordle... at least Veigar covers his face, same goes for Kennen.... But Corki? he looks like a tiny human with a weird nose.
While there was no mention of a yordle update during the roadmap,they later replied that these would merely be the next 4 lore updates this year,so yordle lore isn't off the charts for this year.
In general I feel like Bandle city lacks a distinct theme.
Some of its champs are based around magic (
),some of them on technology(
) and some have a more military feel to them(
and again).
Even worse,Corkis new lore actually links him to piltover(even if the universe page doesn't list him as a piltover champ).

I think Kennan needs a VGU of some sort. His abilities are cool but kind of lacking in this current meta.
Kennen 
was listed as a High-Priority Update, so we might end up seeing him real soon. I love the artwork here & I'd love to see that kennen in game.
Teemo I believe was on the same level with Jax, he's not High Priority yet, but he's getting there. He's always had the same Base Model since his inception & they can really make something from the whole "Scout" thing. Plus, he's been making peoples lives a living hell since February 21, 2009 during Alpha Week 2.
Veigar was introduced way back July 24, 2009. His gameplay still holds up, but can't say the same about his visuals. I would have loved to see an update similar to 
. Unfortunately since they discontinued VU's in favor of VGU's, we're just gonna have to wait until he becomes High-Priority.

I logged in just to vote this up. Even though I still don't play the League anymore I would love to come back after they release more yordles. And I agree that some yordles desperately need a visual update.
I think kennen should be reworked. He seems an ugly manga character. he is pretty ugly... but the concept art above are very good! But i think amumu needs a rework too. He is... a poop. Like fiddlesticks. Fiddlesticks should be reworked. Mundo, Blitz, zilean. they are too old for new champions
I'm really curious what direction they're gonna go with Corki character wise, all i know is that he's an ace pilot who lives for the danger of dogfights despite his age
