Leak Akali Rework info from a brazillian video

I know most people here don't speak Portuguese, so I'll translate some info that was given by this Brazilian Youtuber a few hours ago. I know he did recieve info on other champions/reworks before it was public before, so it isn't fake, he had to sign the NDA and all that stuff.

I don't know exactly about the sideboob (I know people will ask this), but he said that she uses more revealing clothes than the current one, specially if you compare the current splash art to the new one. NAKED Akali Confirmed!!! jk.

  • Her Q's name and some part of its effect is a reference to an anime, he couldn't say which one it is because it would be obvious. "Kunai with chain"? "Chidori"?
  • Her W is still the shroud as it was confirmed before, but it has a new mechanic that he said was really, really strong and people would cry a lot because of it. Super op and dont have counterplay?
  • Her E is a completely new ability that can be used very creatively, both defensively and offensively.
  • Her ultimate is kind of the same, with some changes to make it more versatile.
  • In general she is as mobile as she was before, but her mobility is more versatile and not just "all-in all the time".
  • She still does a lot better than most assassins when facing tanks.
  • She still uses energy.
  • Her kit is not as hard to balance as other people made it look like, but people will probably cry out for nerfs anyway because of her W.
  • And the last one, she has one animation (dance, joke, taunt or laugh) in which she eats ramen
  • AD and AP.
  • She still use mask.
  • She will be release in the next path and probably by monday will we have her videos. ( I hope not! please let it be today rito :( )

PS: he also leak pyke but didn't specify him. He did just say that the new champ has a hook ability, he had some kind of invisibility/camouflage, and that his Ultimate had an effect that we've never seen in the game and that could change the bot lane meta a little bit.

Perhaps her new W Mechanic allows her to invisible while doing damage in her shroud or negate the enemy's vision outside the shroud.

No counterplay could mean a lot of things and he stated it was a NEW Mechanic.

& more revealing clothes? How is that any helpful to a Ninja that works with Shen in battles to stop Zed & his army.

Kai'Sai had the same dumb design with the chest reveal for no reason despite supposedly having a dark lore with all the little girl being stuck near a small Void Portal for YEARS without finding her way out, how does it make any sense? Is there any purpose with that chest reveal?

I could understand Miss Fortune being a pirate captain and using her looks to distract the manly bandit type of men in Bilgewater surprising them that a girl is capable of doing as much as the infamous Gangplank during that era of time around the sea & land of Bilgewater,it's pure badass.

I'm quite terrified as someone who often plays immobile champions. Though i'm mostly worried what Riot changed about Akali's shroud by the way it was described in this post.

I hope the what he said about her W is an exaggeration cause that move is one of the most frustrating aspect of live Akali. While, I think it's a unique and thematically reasonable move, the addition of the blink within it and the CD is insane.

At the end of the day, as long as it is a move that doesn't have too much power in it in regards to the rest of her kit then I'll be ok, but I would be lying if I didn't say I have a bad feeling about this.

More revealing clothing isn't really surprising even if it is disappointing.

Irelia got a really nice touch up.

Hope she at least has some other conservative skins.

As an Akali main, I'm genuinely worried she's going to come out to strong, and just be nerfed into the ground because she'll be too op. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
