Pantheon? or ....Atreus?

I believe that this Pantheon VGU is going to be about Atreus taking his body back from Pantheon and trying to get Targon to wake up to whats' happening above.

1.) As the Boards discussed before, Riot is hesitant to "reveal" the nature of the Aspects behind Targon as it will completely demystify the region and leave it flat if done so soon. Actually putting Pantheon, who for all intents and purposes IS the Aspect itself, with full control of the body means Riot has to tell us something about what an Aspect is, what their goals are and the war between them. They can't hide behind the hosts' ignorance anymore because Pantheon completely consumes the host

2.) "We’ll also be expanding on his current lore, as we tell the story of gods and humans and how one MAN fought back against the gods."

Reading that in the Champion Roadmap has convinced me 100% that we're getting Atreus back (Will Riot actually surprise us and meaningfully for the first time change a champions in client name like with Nunu?)

Whether he'll have a helmet or not covering his face is still up in the air, but I will say that in visual design typically wearing a helmet is associated with dispassion, order, and conformity. When you hide a characters face its because you don't want an audience to empathize with them on a human level. Removing a helmet though is a strong indicator of INDIVIDUALITY. That would be part and parcel for this incarnation of Pantheon as Atreus would value his renewed individuality much more than he did before. Taking off the helmet would be a no-brainer in a character design context.

Of course a good reason to keep the helmet on would be for Atreus to retain the mantle of Pantheon, but to use it for his own purposes in his so called "war against the gods". The Rakkor would follow Pantheon to the ends of the earth and revere his might, but if Atreus comes out as being human again than they may not and shun him. This opens up an interesting moral quandary. How is Atreus any different from Pantheon if he chooses to manipulate the Rakkor with this sort of deception? Atreus has interesting history with Leona who is also on her own journey to become woke from the wokest of all aspects Diana. This aligns all three of our original Aspects. It also allies Atreus with Aurelion Sol, both of whom REALLY have good reason to hate Pantheon. I really think Riot will go this route simply because its' just too juicy to resist.
