the garen and the darius skins look incredible

but shouldnt champion lore play into the vs. events?

i thought thats why and were chosen for the last event.

when it comes to lore, and have a far longer history. i dont think there was even a single connection between darius and garen in either lore. no mention that they even met at any point in their history.

meanwhile we have the whole personal rivalry/love relationship between garen and kat, and the entire lore back from the events with the crystal scar, where they worked together on a couple occations, including uncovering leblancs and swains conspiracy, and other times where they met on the battlefield as adversaries.

considering swains champion interactions with kat, this part of the lore hasnt been retconned.

there are also various champion interactions throughout the game that connect garen and kat. i think she would have been a better fit than darius for this event.
