Item Icon Updates

Hello everyone.

_I feel a few of the item icons could use some polishing. They are a small part of the game, but you'll see them all the time, even if you merely spectate the game. Most of the icons have remained unchanged for years. Some of the icons are clear, which is good, as readability should come first, but there is always ways to improve the fantasy of the items. I liked the changes to Phantom Dancer's appearance, for example. _

As for the older icons, here are a few for starters I feel could use updating:

The boot line icons are rather old, while the items are the most frequently purchased. They could use more representative and differentiating icons than what they currently have.

Doran's items are also very commonly seen. While they serve different purposes, they could use some unification and general overhaul.

Blasting Wand's icon is a bit messy and wonky. Then again, many of the old icons are.

Wit's End is rather nice item, but I've found myself driven away from it by it's peculiar design. A more appealing, matching visual presentation could be in order.

Spirit Visage is a powerful item. It could use a more matching, fitting icon. I feel it's in the same spot as Sunfire Cape was.

Looking at these two brings me back to the earlier days. I think they are both long due for updating. A simple recolor isn't suitable for an item like Nashor's Tooth.

The design could be revisited, similarly to what was done to Archangel's Staff, long ago, back in season 3.

I've always found these two rather dull looking compared to items of the same caliber. They could have a similar style to Morellonomicon or perhaps Pox Arcana, Netherstride Girmoire and Rite of Ruin, if you remember those from the Bilgewater event. They could be even recycled, as they looked rather nice.

I'd also like and to have a bit better reading icons, although they are new ones.
