I mean just look at Aatrox, why does he keep yelling? Is he 14? He is meant to be ancient yet he's raging in every voice line, he's too intense.
I hope Varus is treated differently. We are definitely gonna have to put up with this Kai and whatever his name is nonsense speaking while we play him, but i hope the darkin keeps Varus' current grim calm tone when speaking.
I swear, the only way I can tolerate the word "Heartlight" is with Varus mocking them by saying that it's flickering/dissipating or something like that.
Any word from the 2 inclusion tools will have me request to have a way to shut up only the VO of the character without gimping any other sound.
Aatrox for the most part yells for some special interactions,not the whole time.
Also I dunno why you think that an ancient being needs to be calm and collected,especially when it had to endure eons of imprisonment.

If you think that Aatrox yell in every voiceline, you haven't played him, or even heard his voicelines
About Varus, he is described as a sadistic individual in his lore, and we could see a glimpse of his personality in the comic, so he might do his voice like that, a sadistic cold killer, with interferences and comments from kai and val here and there
Lets hope that Varus doesn't end up like Aatrox
